The true showstopper is the unique green marble kit-kat tile backsplash, which brings natural, movement-rich variation into the cooking alcove. We paired this organic focal point with upgraded, statement lighting wrapped in textured cord, warm wood accents, and woven barstools to layer in warmth. From the artisanal wall sconce illuminating the farmhouse sink to the intentional shelf styling, every detail was chosen to transform a standard new build into a rich, lived-in sanctuary that feels entirely custom.

Our goal for the remodel was to streamline the architectural lines, replace the heavy stucco and varied tiling with a cohesive, elevated backdrop, and bring a refined sense of transitional vintage charm to the heart of the home.

We swapped the overwhelming textures of the past for a streamlined, custom-sculpted plaster hood and a breathtaking patterned tile backsplash that pays homage to historic artistry.

By contrasting the bright white marble on the island with dark soapstone perimeter countertops and matte black hardware, we established a rich visual rhythm. Styled to perfection with fresh produce in woven accents, lush greenery, and warm brass fixtures, this remodel proves that a historic kitchen can feel incredibly fresh, functional, and layered with narrative.
