My Lockdown Routine Challenge

Ok friends, I have made it to the 6th stage of grief in my quarantine journey. I have officially reached acceptance.

If you are anything like me, than you have probably been struggling with the lack of structure during the lockdown. Being stuck at home with kids isn’t the most productive environment and makes it hard to accomplish simple tasks. Feeling like I accomplished something each day is beneficial to my mental health; I mean, I write things I’ve already completed on to do lists just to cross them off. (I have problems) To help me feel productive in my time of quarantine I decided to set some goals for every day. And since it’s easy to think things silently and never have to follow through on them I thought I’d write it here making myself at least a little more accountable…you know for the 1 person that reads this (hi mom).

Here is what I’m committing to for the next month:

My Goals:

  • Meditate for 5 min every morning

  • Drink an entire glass of water before my coffee

  • Get in a good sweat 3 days a week

  • Do gently yoga 3 days a week

  • Read 1 chapter of a book everyday

  • Create for one hour everyday

  • Eat a healthy breakfast everyday

Who’s in? Let’s try to switch the dialogue and accomplish the little things.
